Grenadiers in action at Plouay and Germany

The Grenadiers were in action in both France and Germany today, with the final stage of the Deine Tour and the Bretagne Classic both on the menu.

In France, despite being caught behind an early crash, the team were active in the rolling hills of Brittany, launching and following moves in an attempt to upset the sprinters. Unfortunately they weren’t able to do so, with a late solo move claiming victory. Magnus Sheffield was the highest placed rider for the Grenadiers, sprinting to 12th place after a long day in the saddle.

Over in Germany, and a rolling circuit rounded out an enjoyable five days of racing, with Filippo Ganna our highest placed rider. The Italian came home in the main peloton just behind a lead group who contested the win.
