The INEOS Grenadiers are pleased to announce that the team is joining forces with the highly regarded Hot Tubes Development Cycling Team, an exciting addition to the team’s development partnership network.

The two teams have worked closely together for several years, with Hot Tubes alumni Magnus Sheffield, AJ August and Artem Shmidt all current INEOS Grenadiers riders. This announcement now formalises that relationship in an exciting next step for both teams.

Hot Tubes Development Cycling, the not-for-profit, donor-supported organisation, is the longest running and most successful U19 programme in North America. Under the stewardship of founder Toby Stanton, the team has won over 130 US national titles and more than 10 Hot Tubes alumni have gone on to ride for UCI WorldTour teams over the last two decades.

An important element of the INEOS Grenadiers’ Ascent talent programme is the creation of an alliance of different organisations and teams. These affiliations will provide a pathway for talented young riders to earn opportunities to reach the professional ranks.

This latest announcement follows on from the recent tie-up with German UCI Continental team Lotto Kern-Haus PSD Bank for 2025.

Scott Drawer, INEOS Grenadiers, Performance Director: “There’s an historic and long-term working relationship already in place with Hot Tubes and to formalise this process was a logical next step as we grow and develop our talent programme.

“Toby and his team have strong values and a great approach to development, always putting the junior rider at the centre and underpinned by significant safeguarding and welfare support. Within our team we have Dario Cioni and Simon Watts overseeing how we work with talent and our partners. They’ll play a crucial role in this partnership and be able to support the team when they’re travelling and racing in Europe.

“This partnership will also enable us to expand our talent search in the USA and provide a pathway for American riders to the under 23 category and eventually into the WorldTour.”

Toby Stanton, Founder, Hot Tubes Development Cycling Team: “Joining the INEOS Grenadiers as a Development Partner is a natural extension of an informal relationship we’ve had with the team for years.

“We are excited our riders will now have access to the INEOS Grenadiers’ training and nutrition experts and enable us with more opportunities to race against the top juniors in Europe.”
