Rivera fifth and Arensman sixth in Burgos TT

Brandon Rivera put in a strong performance on stage four’s time trial at the Vuelta Burgos to place fifth, moving himself up to eighth overall. 

The flat 18.5 kilometre course from Santa María del Campo to Pampliega was one for the purists, with very few corners, and long, fast straights. Michael Leonard was an early pacesetter, crossing the line in provisional second place, and averaging over 54 kilometres an hour. 

Thymen Arensman was the next Grenadier to light up the timing sheets, going fastest at the intermediate time check, and slotting into provisional fourth. His time was then beaten by Brandon, ultimately ending up in sixth and fifth respectively, and moving the Colombian up to eighth  overall with one stage remaining.
