The INEOS Grenadiers safely navigated a technical finale as Wout van Aert (Visma Lease-a-bike) won a bunch sprint stage three.
Kim Heiduk brought the Grenadiers home in 15th after a strong team performance to keep the team's GC leaders safe ahead of the first mountain test of the race.
Josh Tarling helped guide Thymen Arensman and Carlos Rodriguez through a series of tricky roundabouts and technical turns to keep the pair at the front as the sprinters jockeyed for position.
Heiduk was then clear to contest the sprint, which saw him finish 15th as Van Aert took the stage win.
