Ben Swift rolled back the years to sprint to an impressive top-five finish as the 2025 WorldTour season kicked off at Tour Down Under.

The Brit came home fifth in the opener, and was part of back to back top-10 finishes for the Grenadiers on the first two days, with Sam Watson securing seventh on day two.

The Grenadiers hit the front at key moments - with Connor Swift amongst the action on Wednesday's stage as the peloton tackled three ascents of Menglers Hill.

Geraint Thomas is easing his way into the event following an illness overnight ahead of stage one. The Welshman battled through the opening two days and will continue to build up as he begins his season Down Under.
