Since 2017, Maurten has revolutionised the way athletes fuel — its Hydrogel Technology has rewritten the rules of carbohydrate and sodium bicarbonate use for performance.
“We love to shake things up and challenge the status quo. So, to partner with a team like INEOS Grenadiers, who basically reinvented the sport of cycling, similar to what we did with fuelling, is going to be very, very interesting,” says Olof Sköld, Maurten CEO. “We’ve worked with highly successful teams before, and you can see it’s worked pretty well for them. Maybe that could hint at what the future holds for this partnership.”
The three-year partnership includes all Maurten products and, crucially, INEOS Grenadiers and Maurten will operate a performance think tank to drive innovation, future development and offer tailored nutrition advice and fuelling strategies for each INEOS Grenadier rider.
