Since 2018 the Pinarello bikes of the INEOS Grenadiers have featured a MOST integrated cockpit, with the Pinarello component brand now an official partner.
INEOS Grenadiers' riders use cockpits designed by MOST, with the integrated handlebar Talon Aero 1K Di2, the iTalon GPS Support and the Ultragrip bar tape. The cockpit gives an increased level of control to the riders, in addition to a best in class aerodynamic impact thanks to a perfect match with the Pinarello DOGMA F10 frame, yet also retains comfort for long distance rides.
Hours and hours of research and development by the Pinarello Lab ensures every single part has been designed looking for the perfect balance in terms of aerodynamics, weight and ride feeling. The result is an integrated handlebar, the Talon Aero 1k Di2, inspired by the F10’s aerodynamic design and perfectly integrated to the frame.
The cockpit is mounted with Ultragrip bar tape. Developed specifically for INEOS Grenadiers, this tape is incredibly light and guarantees a perfect grip. Made with innovative materials, Ultragrip has an inner layer designed for a great absorbability. The exterior layer, thanks to a secret special surface treatment, provides extraordinary grip in all weather conditions and a unique ride feeling even during long rides.
INEOS Grenadiers Head of Technical Partners & Cycling Relations
Carsten Jeppesen said: “We’ve been working with Pinarello since our inception so bringing MOST into our partnership family enables us to take a more holistic view of future performance development. The cockpit represents a fundamental part of the bike, it plays such a crucial part of bike handling for our riders, so the opportunity to partner with MOST alongside Pinarello on a wholly integrated bike solution and design inclusive of the frame, forks, seat post and cockpit represents a natural progression for INEOS Grenadiers.”
